Educated in the traditional studio arts, oil painting, at the University of Oregon with a BFA, the artist stayed within the traditional painting techniques, focusing on landscapes and figuratives in her environment, with a gradual transition into abstraction.

Her philosophy is to allow life experiences, culture, history and environment to be translated into art. The gradual distillation of life experiences and growth of technique brings a richness and depth to the work. Art is not constant. The resulting pieces, however subtle, are translated into a diary of the artist.

Her art is in private homes in California, Oregon, Taiwan, and Madrid.
